Inspired by the Atlas beetle’s form and reflective sheen, Atlas Xpresso reimagines the domestic coffee machine as a sculptural yet functional centerpiece. The design adopts a beetle-like silhouette, with a porta-filter handle curved like the beetle’s horn and holographic glass tubes that reveal the mesmerizing journey of steam from the core to the nozzle, where it froths the coffee. Perched on slender, arched legs, the machine minimizes countertop footprint while maintaining a striking visual presence. The project focuses on creating a sense of wonder and excitement through expressive design language, multitasking features, and an imaginative approach to everyday rituals.
